Borehole and water system services
Borehole Drilling
We coordinate licensed borehole drillers and manage the full process — site assessment, drilling, casing, and development. You deal with one party for the complete water system.
Pump Installation
Submersible pump sized to your borehole yield and property demand. Pump controller, rising main, and surface delivery pipe to tank — all included and warranted.
Overhead Tank & Stand
Steel stand fabrication and installation, 5,000L–10,000L polyethylene tank, float valve, overflow, and distribution pipework to all points.
Water Quality Testing
Water sample analysis for bacteria, pH, hardness, and chemical content — recommended for all new boreholes before the water is used for drinking or cooking.
Existing Borehole Repairs
Pump replacement, rising main repair, yield testing, and rehabilitation of underperforming or silted boreholes.
Solar-Powered Borehole
Solar pump systems for plots without reliable grid power — panels, solar pump controller, and pump sized to available sunlight hours.

Borehole questions answered
How much does a borehole cost in Accra?
A complete residential borehole system in Accra — drilling, pump, 5,000L tank, and distribution pipework — costs GHS 12,000–22,000 in 2026. Depth is the main variable; most suburban Greater Accra boreholes are 25–60m. Solar pump systems add GHS 4,500–9,000.
How deep are boreholes in Accra?
Most residential boreholes in Greater Accra reach water at 25–45m in areas with good aquifer coverage. Parts of Kasoa, Spintex, and low-lying Tema may require 50–70m. A hydrogeological assessment of your specific area gives the most reliable indication of expected depth before drilling.
Is borehole water safe to drink in Accra?
Many boreholes in Greater Accra produce good-quality water, but water quality varies by location and aquifer. A laboratory water quality test (GHS 400–900) is strongly recommended for any new borehole before using the water for drinking or cooking. We coordinate water quality testing as part of every borehole installation.
How long does borehole drilling take?
The actual drilling typically takes 1–3 days. Pump installation and tank setup takes a further 3–5 days. Total mobilisation to working water system: 2–4 weeks including equipment scheduling and any required siting surveys.
